care and support package.
- Ensure that all the tasks listed within your support plan are carried out.
- Arrive at your home as near as possible to the time stated within your care plan.
- Be polite and courteous at all times.
- Show the utmost respect for your home, belongings
- Respect your rights and dignity and promote your independence to the best of our
ability.
- Provide continuity of service to our Service Users.
- Keep all your personal and financial matters strictly confidential.
The right to dignity involves recognising that everyone is an individual and has
different needs. We will try to preserve respect for our Service Users intrinsic
value in the following ways:
- ensure that all our Service Users are treated as individuals.
- Help Service Users to present themselves to others as they wish through their own
clothing, personal appearance and behaviour in public.
- Address each Service User by their preferred title and respond to specific cultural
demands and requirements.
- Aim to minimise any feelings of inadequacy, inferiority or vulnerability which Service
Users may have by tackling the stigma which may arise through age, disability
or status.
- Deal with any sensitive situations in a dignified and respectful manner.
